What is unique about the South Africa Conservation trip?
​
This program is designed for anyone that is interested in wildlife conservation. As well as zookeepers, biologists, animal science majors, conservationists, adventure seekers, travellers or anyone with a love and passion for wildlife and nature.
​
If you are looking to do something exiting, then this is just the trip for you.
This trip is a mixture of adventure, education and helping the fight to save our wildlife.

Our volunteer program runs from a Sunday to a Sunday
(8 days/7 nights).
During this time you will be staying in a beautiful chalet on the Blyde river, near the town of Hoedspruit.
​
Your role will be to assist with snare sweeps; helping in the workshop with making D2TW products; joining in with a community outreach project and if luck is on your side -assisting a wildlife veterinarian in removing a snare from an injured animal.
​
In your off time hiking, swimming and cliff jumping - in the crystal clear waters, of the Drakensberg is a must.
​

We want our trips to be as exclusive as possible -so we can take up to 4 guests at a time.

Of course! From a group of friends or a family member to even travelling on your own, this trip is a great opportunity to meet people interested in the same things as you, and who knows - you might make friends for life. Magic happens in Africa.

Which airport should I fly in and out of?
Best to book an international flight to OR Tambo International airport in Johannesburg. Then a domestic flight to Hoedspruit, this is where you will be collected. There is also the option of taking a road transfer shuttle from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit.
